Character Discussion How would you fill if none of the supernovas were given credit in taking down Kaido even though they will do most of the work?

So it seems like the fight against Kaido is a team effort (at least for now) so keeping that in mind I wanna ask you this: How would you fill if none of the supernovas were given credit in taking down Kaido even though they will do most of the work?

At the end of Wano arc Luffy will be known as the guy who took down Kaido, I think we all would agree on it, the newspapers will hype Luffy up significantly, but there's a problem with it.

The supernovas will do most of the work against Kaido and Luffy will only finish him off, if Luffy gets all the credit for taking down Kaido it would make him look like a rat, a scumbag that steals the victory from others.

All that situation will not just be unfair towards the supernovas but it will also completely ruin Luffy's character. How can Oda come out of this situation whiteout cornering himself like in case of Whitbeard killing Kaido stuff.

If I'm not wrong in the newspaper it said that Luffy and Law took down Doffy, not just Luffy. Also in Dressrosa Luffy did most of the work while in Wano it's going to be different.

Killer is a non-threat, Law is Poneglyph hunting, Hawkins and Apoo are irrelevant.

Kid, Zoro and Luffy, and we have two Yonkou up there.

EACH member of the Supernova must have a role in Kaido's defeat and I'm pretty sure it will happen.
Kaido is the WSC, if Luffy/Zoro/Kidd/Law/whoever is able to defeat him 1v1 then the manga can end in 100 chapters from now (we all know this will not happen).
Kaido and Big Mom will be taken down by the Worst Generation in a team effort, none of them will be stronger than the Yonkos at the end of the war, but all of them will be much stronger than when they arrived in Wano and will have a new role for the continuation of the journey.
Talking about credits, this is my PERSONAL prediction:
1) Luffy, obviously, he is the MC. He'll be the one to actually put Kaido down on his back
2) Kidd, he'll rival Luffy during the fight. Will not give Kaido the last blow, but will be the one who kills him (causing Luffy and Zoro rage)
3) Law, he'll deal a lot of damage and give a lot of support to the other SN, saving them in dangerous situations. He's also the one who proposed Luffy to take down Kaido
4) Zoro, he has Enma so he'll reopen Kaido's wound in a crucial moment giving Kaido PTSD again, this way he'll give the alliance hope when they are near defeat too
5) Killer, will be a support, probably dealing some underrated damage (my headcanon is taking Kaido's eye, or something to nerf him)
6) Hawkins, he'll use his strongest cards which could give a huge advantage to the alliance and be a pain in the ass for the Yonko

The 2 I don't know about are Apoo and Drake. The former is currently down (but I hope he'll get up and join the fight on the roof cause his hax would be pretty useful), the latter will probably face Queen so seems difficult to me that he will challenge Kaido too. He may have a role when the Marines arrive.

I agree that they will get bounty increase, that's not the point. The point is whether in newspapers it will say that Luffy took down Kaido or the supernovas took down Kaido, there's a difference.

Oda added "one on one bet on Kaido" stuff a reason, he wouldn't miss the opportunity to hype Luffy up as the one who broke Kaido's undefeated record, just like in case of Katakuri.

Doffy couldn't even damage gear 4th Luffy, the gap between Luffy and Doffy was insanely small. For Luffy to have the same scenario as in Dressrosa then he should be (even for some small period of time) on the same level as Kaido or some other Emperor.

Nope. Not too early at all. Luffy will definitely be a top tier by the end of Wano, just not the strongest- and maybe the weakest. A Great Pirate, so that he's ready to meet Shanks.
