The story paints injuring Kaido as a bigger deal than beating his top officers. Look no further than Ashura who called Jack but a lowly subordinate while stressing the importance of beating Kaido.

Let's also not forget the elephant in the room that is Linlin. She is right there with Kaido, so your proposed team would have to deal with two monstrous emperors.

It entirely depends on the % of contribution the fighter gets against the yonko.

If for example Zoro did 60% of the job against Kaido we could assume he is at least > 60% as good as him while King is well well below that.

It doesn't matter who he fights or with who he fights, Zoro will have the 2nd biggest role and feat of the arc.

That depends on a few things which are:
- the strength of the calamity they fight
- how well they perform against the calamity
- how they perform against Kaido
- the condition Kaido is in
- how well the other people fighting alongside you against Kaido perform

As you can see there's much you have to factor in.

But of course nothing beats taken out of calamity and then moving on to fight against Kaido.
