Oda's generous as fuck and some Zoro fans still try hard to set themselves up for disapointment.

Imagine Oda writting an amazing fight where Zoro manages to defeat a top YC in proper 1 vs 1 combat, and Zoro's fans not thinking much of it .

That moment when the insane Zoro wank fest backfires and stops you from actually enjoying his fight against a more than worthy opponent

That's his development. Sanji is supposed to evolve as a character, he would never be relevant as a fighter. But in the past his SIMPING ways have be detrimental to the crew, he is weak of heart, and lets go his responsibilities towards his crew in his SIMPING ways. His fight with Black Maria, the moral conflict and finally him doing the right thing would be his salvation

Oda doesn't change these characters.......Sanjis probably gonna get bailed out by Brook,Robin or someone and fight either Page One, Jack, Queen or who ever he's supposed to fight tbh. Unless Sanji leaves the arc like Dressrosa he's gonna fight someone, and likely have the best showing among the straw hats outside of Luffy and Zoro.

I think Oda has been very vocal when it comes to taking Sanji out of that "advisor"/no3 position and putting Jinbei in it.

Remember when Zoro had to enforce Usopp decision with his authority, sanji was advising
Against X-Drake similar situation happened, Zoro enforced, but Jinbei was the one who advised.

Sanji is probably going to be alongside Franky, Nico Robin etc going forward

I recall it was 2019 and I was never hyped about King because I would not feel it when I was considering Kaido was there. Not even the notion of King being a swordsman had stimulated me.
