This entire chapter was fools gold galore. Nice on the outside, but totally without substance, if you look at it again more deeply.

It was literally only about the standoff in the end.
We didn't learn what Luffy said to Ace/Sabo back then.
We didn't even learn what the prophecy about the "young generation 20 years in the future" was about exactly. Just some vague hints again.

That was not a worthy chapter for that kind of milestone. Sorry, if I hurt some fans feelings, but that's the hard truth.

And sorry marco bros : I am not really a fan of Marco moment too. Wayy too goofy. I am all for Marco to overpower King and Queen if there was some threats behind them, I wanted to see him struggle a bit and sending Zoro up there. Here both attacks were weird and without tension, and Marco block was really weird too.

In the main moments for Luffy as a captain like Logue Town, Thriller Bark or Sabaody, Oda clearly singles out Zoro and Sanji from the rest, and then clearly pushes Zoro one step of Sanji.

Zoro is the right hand man and Sanji is the left hand man. They always were and always will be
