Speculations Now Zoro is on the roof, who will he end up primarily fighting

Queen is there. Sure, he stands no chance against Marco but he can hold him off for a while, which would give King plenty of time to reach the roof in the meantime. Then Sanji comes, takes care of Queen so Marco can go to the roof but once he's there, Zoro vs King will have already started and Marco will choose to focus on Big Mom. There, you have a plausible scenario for Zoro vs King, but ultimately, it's up to Oda.
I think they read a different 1000 chapter with title Roronoa Zoro instead of Strawhat Luffy, and for the double spread where Luffy thinks of all the flashbacks, tells the Yonko that he will surpass them and punches Kaido, they have an alternative version where Zoro replaces him and Luffy's the one watching from the sideline.
Fair enough, but that still doesn't explain the matter of Linlin and Kaido. Luffy's more likely to take out King quicker than he is either Emperor.
But we're working with the idea that King will only go after Luffy, which realistically he wouldn't. He'd go after anyone who dares attack his captain. That being Kid, Killer, Law, Zoro, Luffy.
And even that is under the assumption King makes it pass Marco, or even goes to the top. He didn't with the Scabbards, and he doesn't think much of the new generation. He thinks the war is won with Momo's death, so that's prime to be his target based on his motivations.
There's layers to this, and right now, Zoro vs King has to go through several of them to be even remotely plausible, let alone possible.
But we're working with the idea that King will only go after Luffy, which realistically he wouldn't. He'd go after anyone who dares attack his captain. That being Kid, Killer, Law, Zoro, Luffy.

Whatever, the fact still remains that Zoro fans are actually giving Zoro less to do than even Sanji fans, who are saying he will scar Kaido and then fight King, because they’re so fixated on Zoro killing an immobile Kaido
Why is being consistent in regard to matchups is a bad thing now ? At the start of Wano, Zoro vs King believers were seen as objective fans with a sensible point of view, now they're just Sanji fans dreaming about Zoro vs King to minimize Zoro's role against Kaido 
You can't blame people for being consistent. You can only blame those who were arguing against Zoro vs King and did a 180° turn when Zoro vs Kaido became obvious.

I don't appreciate being called "stupid" over opinions on manga.
Next, you assume everyone who doesn't believe he'll fight King is coming from the same place. I could care less about Zoro's "perceived" feats or what seems impressive to you. (Especially when we still haven't seen him fight yet).
What I'm concerned about is the story, and right now the story has built a narrative around Zoro and Kaido. Whether it means Zoro gives him a bad scar or outright kills him, we don't know for sure. But as it stands, Zoro is fighting Kaido and Oda's written him to want to fight Kaido, and included him in the face off in a landmark chapter. This is his fight, and expecting him to go off and fight King is unrealistic.

You're already looking at this from the wrong perspective.
It's not about what they want, it's about what the story has told us so far. King vs Zoro is not something it's alluded to in any way shape or form.
You can't call them greedy because they don't assume Zoro's role in the Kaido fight ends at reopening the scar.
The majority don't want/believe that Zoro defeats Kaido alone so I dunno where you're getting that from. Most believe that Kaido goes down to the 5 supernovas and Zoro gets the final blow effectively beheading him.
