Oda is not the kind of man to portray repetitive scenarios. I don't expect Kaido vs Oden part 2, Oda will be creative in the scarring process too, other than introducing Kaido allegedly being offed.

On topic , he is already planning to crash that island , and not to threaten or blackmail Luffy but to carry out his 0.2 plan.
Now what will happen if Luffy learn about it ?

Hiyori and Momo would be the big hostage cards, can easily see Kaido doing it again

I don't quite think Kaido will go search them when he is busy avoiding Zoro's fury on the roof my man.

Why didn't he kill the old hag and resume his 1v1 with Oden?

Kaido is a coward who wanted none of Oden in a 1 on 1

He clashed with oden in castle when they maded deal about making himself fool
In fight oden vs Kaido, kaido didn't knew about old hag,and isntantly attacked Oden just like Katakuri attacked Luffy after flampe interfence, only diffrence betwen these two is that Luffy wasn't KOed and Oden did, im not saying certainly that Kaido may hurt himself to be even like Katakuri witb Luffy but it may happen,

Yeah but assuming both shall occur again, Oda will allegedly change their style so that the reader can breathe some fresh new epic greatness. :)

I presume this is the focal point of my analysis here.
