There's not much ground for asserting anything different, merely temporary portrayals that are currently being disproven, so we need to wait off and look at what happens in the future before suggesting it was not fanmade.

That´s not my point.
It´s obvious at this point that Luffy and Zoro are put together and that the term now does not make much sense anymore (unless Sanji beats Queen or King high diff), this has nothing to do with the term being fanmade or not, which it isn´t.
