I find it really weird how some people talk about power scaling of the Meito's ranks. We know the ranks relate to the fame and quality of the blades, but i don't think their rank determines their "power" like some people think.

I was watching those top 30 streams from Brago and King of Lightning about powerscaling and stuff, and they were talking about if Enma was or wasn't a power up. In my opinion Enma itself isn't a power up considering Zoro had Shusui before it, they both have the same Rank and to me Enma only becomes a "power up" because it induces Ryou training for the user, so it's the same as Goku using weights or Joseph using that breathing device to learn Hamon, so after being able to fully control Enma sucking his Haki, i believe Zoro would be as strong with it or Shusui on it's place, it wouldn't matter wich of the two he was using.

Now comes the weird part, a lot people talking about how the rank of the blade makes the user stronger, when i think it's the other way around, the swordsman is the one that has the power and blade is just the tool. To me that type o reasoning is weird, because it makes it sound like Ryuma, the strongest swordsman that ever was for all we know, could've been stronger if just had a Supreme Grade Blade, instead of using Shusui that is a Great Grade after becoming a Black Blade, wich means Shusui was a Skillful Grade like Yubashiri before turning Black.
