same way his daddy didn't need a meaningless title to be strongest man and stronger than any swordsman

he is already a Yonko and a Great Pirate

Shanks isn't Luffy's goal. Luffy casually stated that he's gonna beat all 4 Emperors. Luffy's goal is to be Pirate King which is beyond Shanks.

I don’t get why people think that Oda is gonna turn a character as important and built-up as Shanks into a normal swordsman. Why tf would Oda make Shanks fight exactly like Mihawk, but slightly weaker?
