How do you know we won´t get interactions of them during the fight?
The training of Luffy and Zoro were literally two panels, we did not see anything else.

Better way ? no way : Ace used his DF in different and numerous ways. Sabo mastery didn't come close. Next time maybe but in DR absolutely not.

Out of nowhere? Training is zoro hobby, he spends like 8 hours a day for training since all he does is eat-sleep-training, do you expect Oda to draw every single time zoro trains lol
