The fact koller didn't stop Kidd from gathering more metals = more firepower
Tells me that Kidd issue was that he didn't have enough metals or power to critically damage Kaido

Depending on how far Oda wants to go, bringing the DF at the maximum, could go as far as controlling blood inside the body of people (cause it includes some iron usually). He could crush iron into dust, bring it into everyones buddy and just instantly kill them.
