People are used to reading Attack on Titan, JJK and other, and are upset that One Piece which has been the same this entire time isn't as brutal killing characters like those 'mature' manga.

It is annoying to me when the popular manga ends (usually the way the author wants it) people complain that it feels too rushed or wasted. I do not get it. Do you want 50 more chapters dragging all the explanations? It is ok to have some things unresolved or unanswered.
