Making a thread like this in some form again and again is truly Fairy Tail-level of thread making. This is basically just another version of "Why was Sanji not on the roof" etc.
It was already mentioned that he did in fact counter Big Mom one time together with G3 Luffy. If Luffy couldn't do it...
Nami, Chopper. And Robin for hardly ever doing anything. Usopp gets some good moments, but otherwise he just another Nami. I don't think anyone of the real fighters are "boring" for any personal taste reasons.
Right, he's always to the sides and hasn't done anything big yet, nor seriously dominated anyone. (Marco trapping him looked silly.) I guess Oda has too much to do with smaller characters to build all the action around him. And Kaido needs to get all the hype. We'll probably get a lot of King...
Simply nothing of this makes sense, it just shows bad reading ability. Nothing previous prevents Kaido in this chapter from completely overpowering Kinemon in this way, Kinemon has no Haki left and no defense.
Who cares if Chopper "defeated" Queen's virus, why not, that is his main job, it has...
Regarding "pirate standards": how about you also look at her way of governing her islands compared to Kaido's. They are not at all the same, and obviously she could object to Kaido's or his subordinate's treatment of the people. (There are probably some "hardcore BM fans" that brought that up...
Big Mom is like a grotesque caricature of mother characteristics. The overarching theme of her character is ultimate control, wanting everything to suit her will, even if it takes violence (at least against others' free will or in the form of abuse), and even she thinks she has good intentions...
Obviously it makes sense that there is a "mom"-element to her character, and it even makes sense IN GENERAL that this is mostly limited to or especially strong with a specific age-range. And we know how she can be influenced by the food-factor and someone being of service to her.
How about her...
I find it disappointing that apparently there is no difference in base strength between Luffy and Kaido. That is just the most basic writing by Oda. Everything gets made the same when a new trick is discovered. And Luffy is usually faster and more skilled anyway, though even this doesn't fit the...
Disappointed in Luffy not redirecting his missed shot. And now he's brutalised. I have to say I liked the "F--- you" to Big Mom. That was fun fighting by Zoro and the others.
I thought that question was a joke, putting two overrated but mostly irrelevant topics together, without a logical connection. Most act like it wasn't.
I'm kind of glad Perospero is getting back to his old disgusting self in portrayal (with more to come no doubt), so that he can be disposed of properly eventually.
But most of all I hope we will see Kaido's hybrid form before the next break, I find it kind of a cheap move, and frustratingly...
That spread of them all together on top of Onigashima looks pretty lame, frankly. Kind of standard. Oh well.
One thing the chapter is good at is creating a kind of nervous energy before the fight, and Luffy is impressive with how dynamically he moves.
Zoro can't insta-kill him (like in that legend of cutting off the dragon's head or surpassing Oden's feat). Because it's just an opportunity for Kaido to reverse his statement that there's no monstrous Samurai anymore... So he can't be cut in half or just say it in his last gasp, which is a bad...
