Hmm what if the thing we think is a shadow is actually Imu's real appearance? :DeepThink:Apparently he is a black monster (assuming the translation is accurate)
But the important thing here is that even before Roger ended his journey to become pirate king, he questioned himself about Imu's...
What this flashback showed was that Garp was indeed his first rival, at least as far as Marines are concerned, but I think its implied the rivalry between Roger and Whitebeard truly started post-GV with Roger implying they fought to death multiple times
It's still possible he is the one who...
It was rhetorical. Joyboy's feat was above anything Shanks ever displayed in his entire career. It took a clash with old and sick Whitebeard to do the same :kayneshrug:
That's the thing. What are you basing things from ?

- Oden flashback ? Roger and Whitebeard clashed equally
And we know Whitebeard get the...
Imu doesn't grant haki unless he directly possess someone. What could be argued though is that domi reversed boosted Xebec's haki. However based on Imu's wordings, domi reversed boost physical strength and survivability, not haki which is related to willpower
Though I guess growing physically...
If Imu had to go back in person on a marine ship(while inside Saturn), doesn't that mean he was actually completely physically there on GV and not just a manifestation, and thus couldn't go back to Mariejoa by himself ? :DeepThink:
Imagine getting a title due to tag teaming an opponent who toyed with you the whole fight in a 1 vs 2 while mentally nerfed, crying and begging to be beaten the whole fight :shame:
Previous chapter: Whitebeard clash equally with domi reversed Xebec and the clash end up crashing part of the mountain
This chapter: Domi Reversed Xebec sends both Roger and Garp crashing into the other side of the mountain
I wonder what Oda means by this :afrokappa:
