I think Killingham and Sommers will only be plot devices for Zoro and Sanji to demonstrate their CoC after what they learned from Gaban (Sanji to awaken it as POL and Zoro to learn total control since he uses it recklessly) It doesn't seem like the holy knights will be any really tough opponents.

Yes, in my opinion Oda just showed the pinnacle of IJ, Sanji never did anything like it, it was as if Sanji had gained some kind of stellar cosmic power.

It was IJ; two chapters ago Sanji used IJ on Killingham, and his leg had exactly that same star shape. I believe it's a stylistic device Oda uses to show that the attack is powerfully hot.
