So Imu's powers to take control of someone has something to do with the game checkers? Where you can 'take over' an opponents piece by jumping over it. But here it looks like you have to stand between two enemy pieces and then you are taken over, is there another game with that mechanic?

Imu just has some stupid OP devil fruit, when the trick is revealed he goes down hard. I doubt anyone will see him as the final villian at the end of this arc.
