    Controversial this scene ruined Zoro.

I wonder how Oda will set up Zoro vs Mihawk. I want it to feel like a high-stakes deathmatch rather than just master and student having a duel. Now that Zoro and Mihawk become so closer with each other, it feels weird. Mihawk does not feel like an antagonist to me like Nusjuro or Shiryu are.

Chapter Discussion Tension oficially died in One Piece

Is it bad if I will keep on reading One Piece, even though supposedly it's not worth it?

Controversial Naruto is so clear of One Piece its not even close

Naruto has better writing, and it's definitely the series I would recommend to someone, but One Piece is closer to my heart, I'm more invested in it, it's the manga I grew up with, so I have it higher in my rankings

General & Others What is The Peak of The Naruto Series?

There is just too much peak in the war arc, I cannot chose any other arc than that one. When I watch reaction videos about Naruto, it's always scenes from the war arc that I am most interested in.

Akainu is too weak. Sabo will take care of him BB has potential to get stronger

Speculations Superpositions: Nika wasn't a retcon

I am an "Oda angel" who does not mind Oda coming up with stuff as he writes. I used to do roleplaying, so I am aware of how improvising is

Powers & Abilities Why Couldn't Zoro Cut the Birdcage in Dressrosa?

If Oda did not want the citizens of Dressrosa escape the birdcage, while still making the powerscaling believable, he should have made the birdcage automatically regenerate after it was cut. So, suppose Zoro wanted to get out of the cage, he would cut it, go through it, then cage is quicky...

Controversial Why don't more people Complain about Zoro pulling out Haki during his Fight with Das Bonez?

I was on your side for a bit (because I forgot about those Wano panels), but you have to admit that Oda retconned that scene into being haki after you see that Wano panel. Meaning: Zoro used haki in pre timeskip. Probably not consistently, but in clutch moments like against Mr 1, Zoro used...

General & Others How many more backstories wanji need to get close to Zoro in popularity?

Always loved this elitist mentality. There is nothing wrong with enjoying hype moments and aura. I simply enjoy Zoro's screentime more than Sanji's, that's all. It's not deep. Whether a character has more depth or not is irrelevant, because ultimately it's about screentime enjoyment. (I'm not...

Speculations Imu isn't an endgame villain, Garling is

If Oda wanted Garling to be the endgame villain, Oda wouldn't have humiliated him in God Valley, and instead Oda would have started builing him up. You could argue that Oda makes BB humiliated too, but we are talking about the final saga now, and Garling was just recently introduced. Though, I...

Controversial The existence of Imu ruins the manga

BB will be known and remembered by One Piece fans who have inside information, but when outsiders will have a look at One Piece, Imu is going have more appeal to them. Many people are spoiled on who the main antagonists are for popular titles. Like how I knew Darth Vader before even starting...

Speculations Imu will be defeated for good at the end of the Elbaf arc

I don't know how people can even come to the conclusion that Imu is going to defeated for good in this arc when we still have Imu's army to deal with. To have the main boss be defeated before their subordinates is an underwhelming writing choice. Don't pick up a pen.

Controversial The existence of Imu ruins the manga

To me it's the opposite. I always wanted One Piece to have that end-game Madara type antagonist. Kaido comes a bit closer to that, but in the end, he was just a stepping stone, a mid-series antagonist. Imu will be remembered as THE main baddie like Madara was in Naruto.
