Yes, we are way too reactionary every week... but still, in the future we'll look back on Imu's arrival in Elbaf and forget its impact. Because every action he did here (knocking everyone out, injuring Luffy...) was undone by Oda. Oda (as always) decided to drag out what didn't need to be...
Exactly. Oda not beating the "Introducing the final villain at the very end of your manga" trope.
Luffy is fighting with Joyboy's friend/enemy.
The real final villain is Nika's enemy from the first wolrd. The one on the mural.
As usual, Oda just entered on his phase of the main villain not landing any attacks but being a punching bag for all the good guys...
Remember that Imu that was soloing every opponent when he arrived? Yeah, that's over now:few:

I wish Oda would show Imu as more than just a swordsman. Ever since he stabbed Luffy, all his attacks have been with weapons, and it's getting boring. I want to see more large-scale attacks from him.
Sorry Gaban bros... Oda made it clear here ONCE AGAIN, Imu is coughing, NERFED!
Also this panels here made it clear the only reason Gaban reached Imu with Conquerors Haki, was because Imu was focusing on attacking Luffy (you can see him looking at Luffy before Gaban attacks)
