Don't think Gaban dies here. Oda reattached Gerd's finger, he's not killing Gaban. My prediction is Gaban does well for two or three pages until Imu takes over. Dorry and Brogy assist him, and then Hajrudin and hybrid Loki join in to stall Imu. The question is... is Luffy going to join again?

Imu's gauntlet: -Zoro -Sanji -Loki -Luffy -Gaban -Next is Shanks. Trust me. Shanks is helping Gaban next chapter to recreate their duo fight against HK Harald.

The moment Oda made Killingham and Sommers, Sanji & Zoro's opponents, it was over for Imu. Because these two will defeat the HK, that mean Luffy wil do the same. Is how OP arc's structure works. If there was only Imu alone, things would've been different. Not saying Imu will die, but somehow...
