I don't think it's haki related. Him not sleeping is the same reason Luffy and Zoro said "it's not he, it is them" It is also the same reason he can eat multiple devil fruits. IMO he has multiple souls within his body. Likely 3 - his own soul, Rocks and Davy Jones.

I think we just had the final episode of MHA yesterday. Thoughts on the series? I am personally pretty satisfied with the ending, though everything isn't perfect. Loved to see villains who were actually strong and competent.
