I feel Loki and Ragnir's powers probably should have been switched. As Niddhoggr ate the corpses of the dead, so his ice breath would be soul-related, like Brook's. And Ragnir's lightning would work like the Mink's Electro.
I mean in the sense Acnologia is such a blatant rip-off of Ancalagon that I'm surprised the Tolkien Estate didn't sue him.
At least Nidhoggr is in the public domain.
If we're meant to take the panel of Nika VS Elbaf literally, the guy there had a loincloth but Joy Boy had a coat and such on.
So, was that the original Nika in the First World then?
So, if we take that comment about there only being 13 members of the Depths and Abyss Covenants to include the Gorosei, that means there's only 8 members of the Holy Knights, right?
But unless there are a lot of God's Blades, doesn't it seem like a rather small group to have not only a Supreme...
If we include the Gorosei to be apart of the 13 members of the Covenant, then there's only 7 regular members and the SC, for the Holy Knights. For all of them to lose almost straightaway is unlikely.
The thing with Ragnir is definitely a hint of something bigger then we thought. For it to be alive, then possess the hammer, so to be speak, that's not a Zoan Weapon like Funkfreed or Lassoo.
Because we know there are 13 people with the Depths and Abyss Covenants, there are only 7 regular Holy Knights, the leader and then the Gorosei. So, obviously all 7 aren't going to be chased off in one arc.
The two possible inspirations: The Mongolian Death Worm and the titular animals from Dune are just worms. No tie to the Germanic tradition of calling dragons wyrms.
