This is a Gunko flashback lol. Oda is just getting Brook out of the way as well. It makes me sad that people think Oda has a pacing problem in the manga because it reminds me of manga I had to sit through that were actual slogfests pacing wise. You are very lucky man lmao

In response to your post I replied to. I'm 27, not 43. We may have aged up, but Oda hasn't changed his writing. He says he writes this series for 13 year old kids literally all the time and isn't changing anything lol.

They both did equally significant damage to BM. It wasn't Law carrying by himself.

It hurt expectations. Especially the Blocking Hakai bit. Oda made a bit of an oopsie even drawing that, even if it was only for a second and he broke his bones in the process.

You forgot Option 4. The Strongest titles do not mean: You're more willing to accept Oda is full of shit than to just admit the obvious? Loki was always stronger. Its pretty clear at this stage in the story that the titles are not definitive.

I see your point. It seems this jarring considering IMU is stronger than we anticipated. But it doesn't bother me much personally because Luffy has always jumped huge tiers of power with his gears. He did it with Gear 3 and 2 Pre timeskip. Post timeskip, he jumped huge tiers of power with G4...
