You got the whole thing backwards... Fighting Luffy is a downgrade. If you can dodge him, you will be treated well. If Akainu ends up fighting Sabo, he's good.

Any reason why Luffy wouldnt be dead, right here, right now, other than Oda not allowing the MC to die? Stabbed through the chest, clean, receiving fodder treatement, being called weak despite starting the fight fully energized... It is not blunt damage that he can tolerate and shrug off.

He used to struggle, in post-TS he is overpowered.

G2 - steaming. G4 - steaming. Red Roc/Red Hawk - flames... He is slowly heating up. Sanjino is just miles ahead. For 1200 chapters, Zoro was the strongest in the crew. The only question is if Sanjino will end up stronger as well by the end.
