Imo Vivi has close to zero percent chance even if someone else joins. She obviously has to be queen of Alabasta. She'll probably join as a temporary ally like before and be important in the last arc or 2, but she's definitely not joining the crew.

No one is joining. The time has passed. If Loki can shapeshift to a human size, maybe he will ride along for an arc or two like Bonney and Lilith, but there isn't time for anyone to become a strawhat.

How so?

I really hope someone joins. I'm only still here so I can be up to date on any new nakama. I'm leaving the site once they reach Elbaf either way because I prefer waiting a year and binging One Piece over following week to week, and I believe this is truly the last call for new nakama.

By backstory, I meant more like a tragic flashback and a personal villain for Luffy to defeat. It's possible that could still happen, but not having that by the end of the arc she would join in is still a mark against her. And sure she could build weapons, but she hasn't been showcased as a...
