I was referring to the specks (could be dirt, or particles from clothing), but now I'm noticing the streaks, so you could be right. Either way, I don't think drawing a little blood is a big deal or an indicator of significant damage. Zoro/Killer was also drawing blood on Kaido with their initial...
You genuinely think this? I feel bad for you. King was also blocking with his flame on before, and with his arms/wings. You are being very selective or illiterate right now.
That's a weak technicality. King's a hybrid fighter. Non-swordsman block without weapons all the time. The point still stands. We'll get more clarity in the upcoming chapters once the AdCoC is pulled out. But it's heavily implied that King feared Zoro's AP.
It might help you conserve energy and make more effective hits, but it won't move the needle that much. The reason Zoro won was because he could all of a sudden hit harder with coated attacks, and King was afraid the defense wouldn't hold up. So he used his flames offensively in a bid to defeat...
Doubt the Gorosei are top tiers. Usually there's a lot more build-up and in-universe fanfare for that level of strength. They could be contenders like Lucci/Kaku are, but beyond admiral is another thing entirely. Look forward to the Seraphim's growth if you want proper top-tiers on the WG's...
Seastone bit is conjecture. I don't see why a powerful swordsman can't just cut through it. If they can't, they are just not strong enough.
If you already cut through someone's organs, exploding those organs doesn't do anything more. It's just redundant.
Swordsmen already cut from...
Armor so tough that a swordsman can't cut through, which are exactly the challenges that Mr. 1, Kaido, and King all presented, was all overcome with more powerful haki. Zoro's whole mantra against Kaido and King was to unleash everything he had, not to find some way to bypass their durability...
Regardless of whether Sanji has it or not, I've always thought internal destruction was redundant for swordsman since they already cut through their targets. Essentially, it's the power-up you need to match the inherent lethality of swords.
Doubt it's that deep. I don't think Zoro immediately went into that clash already knowing it was specifically going to be a baby clone of a warlord, let alone Mihawk. He's just operating as if it's just a mindless weapon like a Pacifista. Then he got taken aback by the display of emotion, hence...
He's more a force of nature than a character. Freedom is something I value highly, but Luffy himself is not particularly relatable in how he deals with the world to achieve his goals. He is not an "ideal" I gravitate towards or strive to be. But he gets the job done as a shonen lead and does...
I responded to a post about the imbuing, not getting into the weeds about Kaido vs. King or whatever. I don't think that he imbued CoC into his blades against Kaido. There is no effect like there was vs. King or when Luffy punched Kaido a few pages later.
