Zoro fighting Imu here is highly unlikely imo. Oda easily could’ve had Zoro catch a ride on Loki’s back alongside Luffy and Ragnir Instead he placed emphasis on Zoro staying behind and protecting the village. So I think you’re right either new Knights pull up and Zoro has to defend the giants...
