Post-production usually takes about a year so sometime in 2028 is when the movie will most likely come out. That'd be crazy if we got the live-action Naruto movie in the same year when live-action One Piece could potentially be on Skypeia. :myman:

More detailed character descriptions in the casting call. Nothing out of the ordinary except for Sakura now being perceived as a privileged rich girl, I guess compared to her teammates she technically is privileged since she grew up in a stable household with two living parents...

I think it's more that the ages of the character during Part 1 will be a few years older.

You can't even say that when One Piece live-action is on season 3.

I would say Naruto easily beats out One Piece in international popularity especially during the 2000s to 2010s. Naruto has a whole theme park section opening in France this year at a theme park dedicated to popular European comics (mostly Belgian) like Marsupilami, Lucky Luke and the Smurfs.

tbh if Lionsgate gets this Naruto movie right then they'll have Gen Z audiences hooked for the next decade. If you've been reading the trades for what's going on in the blockbuster movie industry you'd know that the big studios are desperate for that audience as they're the biggest moviegoing...

If the live-action movies make it to her arc then Brie Larson is 100% going to play Tsunade. She's a regular in Cretton's movies.

Even Kishimoto has mentioned before how similar his characters were to Harry Potter's upon watching the first movie. Obviously the thematic similarities are unintentional since Kishimoto didn't know what Harry Potter was when Naruto began in 1999 but they're fun to point out.
