IMPORTANT: I WILL NOT COUNT VOTES FROM THOSE WHO DO NOT VOTE FOR EACH FIGHT. ALSO IF I SEE OR NOTICE SOME SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY THAT ENTRY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

In this round in this thread we will have 12 characters, which means 6 fights.

FIRST FIGHT

ESCANOR FROM NNT
The GOAT Escanor.

I assume most people are familiar with NNT.

Escanor appears in the latter half of the manga because he is too fucking strong lmao. Escanor breaks the game, he's the embodiment of unfairness.

What happens here tho is the following. Two Commandments appear at Escanor's bar. Commandments are the highest ranking demons of the Underworld, with only 3 demons, Chandler, Cusack and the Demon King himself, being ranked above them. Their combat classes go from 28 000 to above 100 000. Before the Commandments showed up the highest combat class we saw was like 5000 iirc. Shows you how crazy hyped they are. They destroyed everything wherever they showed up. For the large part of the manga only Escanor could wipe the floor with them.

The deal with Escanor tho is that his power is during the day. As long as the Sun is up, Escanor keeps getting stronger. During the night he is in his normal human form, weak as fuck lmao, his combat class is 15 in that form lol. But as soon as the Sun goes up, you better run away. His power increases the more the sun is up. And when it hits noon, Escanor is literally the embodiment of invincible power.

The two demons visit Escanor's bar at night. Escanor hides Ban and Jericho from them, and the demons wanna drink and play games. Galland challenges Escanor to a game. They will each hit each other and the first one to die or run away loses. Escanor, in his night form, the weak one, says OK. Galland hits him once and knocks him out completely.

The demons continue to drink the night away until morning. Galland notices a huge axe, that he can barely lift. He wonders what kind of axe is it, and how it can be wielded at all. He thinks it's a two handed axe. Escanor, due to morning and the Sun, appears in his buff form now. This is the early morning, so the weakest Escanor is, bar the night of course. Escanor then tells him that he stands at the peak of all races, not lying btw, and that he is the sin of pride.

Galland starts laughing at him, Escanor joins in in the laugh and then casually, while holding back, swings his axe and cuts Galland in half. Melascula shits herself at the sight of all of this.

Galland stiches himself and being angry uses his critical over that increases him combat class from 28 000 to 40 000.

In that powered up form he swings at Escanor, hits him in the arms, the shockwaves of the hit travel far and wide and destroy mountains, but Escanor gets nothing but a little cut. And now it's Escanor's turn. As you can also see, Escanor just keeps getting stronger and stronger. He puts the fear of death into Galland so badly that Galland turns around and starts to run away from him. Doing so, Galland broke his own commandment and turned to stone.

A Commandment is a "cursed" Magical Power created by the Demon King over 3,000 years ago, and bestowed upon ten different elite warriors of the Demons. There are ten in total and each has a unique curse of absolute power bestowed upon anyone who breaks its rule, even upon the holder himself/herself.

Galland was bestowed with the Commandment of the Truth.
The Demon King bestowed Galland with the Commandment of Truth. This Commandment determines that any who tell a lie in Galland's presence will be turned to stone. Only those who are aware they are lying will be affected.

But it doesn't end there.

Melascula who attacks Escanor's soul directly, and eats it, burns up from the heat of his soul lmao. Melascula's combat class is 34 000.

She entraps Escanor in the Glooming Cacoon. Melascula envelops her opponent in darkness, trapping them within a pitch black sphere. The cocoon is extremely resistant. According to Melascula, even a member of the Ten Commandments could not break it. Although she said that the only time it was broken was when Zeldris used the Demon King's power. It requires the power of the Supreme Demon King in order to be broken and Escanor's soul does it casually lmao.

So there you have it. Two top ranking demons straight up negged by Escanor's power. In the morning nonetheless, when he is at his weakest, bar the night of course. And then this man decides to leave not to passively kill off his comrades due to his power. GOAT. Can't get better than that for an entrance.

VS

ALUCARD
Alucard is the main protagonist of the Hellsing series created by Kouta Hirano. He is the most powerful weapon of the Hellsing Organization which works against vampires and other such supernatural forces.

That's his first scene in the series after spending several years sealed.

Alucard's introduction is great for a simple reason, the scene condenses all of the character's distorted and sadistic personality through excellent direction.
The contorted movements, the piercing gaze and the blood are enough elements to convince the viewer that Alucard is not your default main character.

START AT 2:30 PLEASE.

SECOND FIGHT

QIN SHI HUANG FROM ROR
Qin Shi Huang from ROR.
ROR is a battle seinen in which the humans battle the Gods in a tournament, 1 vs 1 rounds, in order to secure the survival of mankind. 13 humans from across history have been chosen to participate.

Qin's entrance is straight up boss. The panels speak for themselves.

First off, he's fighting Hades, a supreme God in the hierarchy. Look at how hyped Hades is. There's only one man that can beat him according to Bu chan. Goll, who has witnessed Gods like Zeus(The Godfather of the Cosmos), Thor(Nordic's strongest God and berserker), Shiva(The strongest God of destruction in Heaven and a Supreme God), Poseidon(The God of Gods), etc fight, thinks it's unfair to have Hades in the roster. But Bu chan tells her that only the King of Genesis can be victorious against Hades.

And then moving on to the entrance. Qin just shows up wreaking the buildings nonchalantly looking for his lounge. Humans and Gods have separate lounges, with Gods' obviously being much better. As he's wreaking the place he notices the VIP Gods lounge. Obviously an Emperor, vainglorious and cocky, he naturally assumes that the VIP room must definitely be his lmao.

The seat in the picture, the empty one is Hades'. Ares used to sit there before Hades showed up, but since Hades showed up Ares doesn't dare to sit there. Ares is the big muscular one. Instead, even though Hades left to battle, Ares sits on the chair that's about to break thanks to his physique. Now, my boy Qin Shi, enters the Gods' room nonchalantly, no one ever did that before, casually ignores two Gods there, Ares and Hermes, and goes straight down and sits on Hades' seat. The utter shock on Ares' face as Qin sits on Hades' seat is amazing lmao.

Ares and Hermes, confused and wondering, while Qin doesn't give a damn is glorious as well. Ares tries to get Qin to move, wants to grab him for his arm and take him away, but Qin, whilst sitting down, straight up negs Ares in one move, with the flick of his wrist. That even causes Hermes, to move away, shocked. Then my dude Qin proceeds to tell two Gods to humble themselves because they are in the presence of an Emperor. Straight up boss energy through and through.

But this man doesn't stop here. He says wanna see me flip Ares again eh.

And then his entrance to the arena. God tier.

He descends from the Gods' side. Cocky as he is. He has all the Emperors of China make practically a red carpet for him on top of their heads so he can walk over. DAMN. BOSS.

He walks the path of an Emperor. Enjoy.

VS

UREK MAZINO FROM TOG
Urek Mazino
is an Irregular, currently 4th in Rank. He was the strongest active Ranker before Zahard became active once again. He is also the most recent person to be part of the Top 5 High Rankers inside the Tower.

He is considered to be on the same level as Phantaminum by weaker Rankers, however, his true rank is almost impossible to determine in terms of the Top 4 ranks because the top 2 Rankers are inactive and thus, cannot be compared with Urek. He mentioned to Baam on the 43rd Floor that they would meet again later on the 77th Floor, then left the floor. His current location is unknown.

At some point, Urek tracked Phantaminum and followed him inside the Tower. It took Urek only 50 years to pass every test and climb all the way up to the top of the Tower. He is recorded as the fastest person to climb the Inner Tower through an orthodox method and it would probably be accurate to say he scaled the Tower faster than Zahard himself.

HIS FIRST EVEN APPEARENCE IS HIM BEING SAID TO BREAK THE LAWS OF THE TOWER. HYPE.

Urek is a tall man, noted to be handsome. He has blonde hair, piercing red eyes and a well-defined musculature with a tattoo of his name and the Wing Tree symbol on his back. He generally wears a snapback backward on his head and has a 'rapper' look about him.

Urek is said to have a ruthless personality, leading him to be respected by all those who dare call themselves men and at the same time seems to be disliked by seemingly every woman he meets. He is also shown to be extremely confident to the point of arrogance, often ridiculing the efforts of those who were no match for him.

Urek's appearance on the Tower upset the High Ranker rankings which had been frozen for quite some time.

Urek's famous line:
What fun would it be to become the king of the Tower? Tell Zahard to keep his boring seat*.* I will get out of the Tower*. Outside the Tower, there exists a vast world, rolling skies stretch endlessly, and countless stars illuminate the darkness. A place that is a thousand times -- no, a billion times wider and freer than the tower. Once you imagine that such a world exists, don't you think all those things you want are all so trivial?*
Urek has one of the best entrances that has ever been witnessed in Manwha. As the gateway to true top tier territory within the Tower of God Universe, his entrance is legendary.

Though we are aware of his existence through whispers in earlier chapters alongside other beasts, his first true appearance is one that truly shakes up the story.

Picture this -

- A fat timeskip occurs
- Mc comes back emo, super overpowered (for his bracket of power) and abilities unheard of within the tower.
- He finds himself a nice crew of people, some who themselves are also kinda overpowered (again for their own bracket)
- After growing and completing various missions as a group, they're given an extremely dangerous mission in the guise of a test and it leads them straight to the belly of the beast that is Mazino.
- Mazino is then uncovered with a main villain type of beat, with a silhouette that rivals Oda, and eyes so scarlet they would make the sharingan appear pink.
- He proceeds to play and humiliate them at every turn but let's them live due to the mc's courage.
- The group are left shell shocked and the mc in a short coma, and Urek let them go and leaves the place as he has found what he is looking for.
- While leaving, he is then ambushed by 3 rankers (people who are like gods compared to "normal" people and the mc), yet he proceeds to neg and evaporate 2 of them in one attack.
- This sets the tone on how lucky the mc and his group are, how far the gap is between where the mc is and where it needs to be, and it also shows Urek in a way more favourable manner than how he's first portrayed- he's an understanding indivisual.

THIRD FIGHT

THE JOKER FROM DARK KNIGHT
Joker (The Dark knight)

Joker, The Clown Prince of Gotham

Does this character even need an introduction? Considering he might be the most famous villain of all time, most people started watching this movie with an idea of who the Joker already is.

But you see, this version / interpretation of the character needed a strong start, because when it was announced that Heath Ledger would take on the Joker role, the majority of the DC fanbase turned on the movie, they had 0 faith in the actor's ability of capturing all of the elements that made the Joker such an iconic character.

So you need to put yourself into that mindset to understand why i believe this is one the greatest introductions / debuts of all time. Imagine the movie is about to start, you are a fan of the Batman comics / movies and you love the Joker, but you have 0 faith in Heath Ledger's ability to bring a good version of the Joker. Then the movie starts, and in just the first 5 minutes of the movie, your mind has been changed.

Link to the Scene

We start the movie following a crew wearing clown masks for a complex bank heist. While we follow the actions of the criminals taking control of the bank, we hear them talking about how they are gonna have to split the money from the heist in 6 shares, 5 for each crew member and a piece for the head of operation, some guy called Joker who uses makeup to scare people, like War Paint. One of the guys in the crew is mad they have to share part of the money with a dude who will just sit out on the actual heist.

One of the members of the crew puts grenades in the hands of every single civilian / worker and pulls the pin, telling them to hold on for their lives and not do anything to interfere with the heist.

Then, we find out that the Joker told a few of the members to kill off one another after each one has finished their part, like the guy shutting off the alarms and the guy that cracked the safe, telling them "one less share to split". One by one, the crew's numbers starting going down.

By the end, when there's only two guys left, one of them turns on the other and says that "i'm betting the Joker told you to kill me as soon as we loaded the cash", but the other guys says "No, i kill the bus driver". At this moment, a Bus comes crashing through the wall of the bank and killing the first guy, revealing another member of the crew the rest didn't even know about, the bus driver helps load the cash and as soon as that happens, the other guy kills him without even looking, being the last member of the crew alive.

While the last guy alive is finishing things up and getting ready to leave, a manager from the bank that is still alive tells the last guy that the Joker is going to kill him like the rest of the crew, but the criminal walks up torwards the manager, puts a grenade in his mouth and takes off his mask, revealing to us he was the Joker since the start.

The Manager asked the Joker what he believes in, so he answers with:

"I believe whatever doesn't kill you, simply makes you ... stranger"

The Joker then starts to leave the bank, entering the bus, all while having a wire attached to the pin of the grenade he put on the manager's mouth, and as soon as he leaves the building with the car, the wire is pulled and the pin from the grenade drops, revealing it was a fake smoke grenade from the start.

This scene is a perfect introduction of this version of the Joker, described by the director himself as a "a psychologically credible anarchist."

In 5 minutes it estabilishes everything the Joker is and for the most part of it, we don't even know the Joker is in the scene, with that only being revealed in the last few seconds.

In just these 5 minutes we learn:
  • The Joker is a mastermind / planner capable of extremely complex plans.
  • He is chaotic and doesn't care about peoples lives, making them kill each other and killing people without looking at them (something he does the entire movie).
  • There's a small hint when the hacker turns off the alarms that shows us the Joker didn't want to steal money from people just for the sake of it, because the alarm / emergency number of the bank wasn't 911 or a security company's number, but a private number, which is later revealed to be conected with the underground organized crime of the city.
  • Even if he is this more realistic / serious take on the Joker character from the comics, this version still has some of the "fun" of the original, by using fake smoke grenades on the civilians to make them scared and the way he smiles and laughs while leaving the scene.

VS

KAIDO
Yonkou Kaidou - One Piece

He was hyped for years without appearing on screen. And then he drops in one of the greatest introductions in the series.

Imagine being so badass that your introduction is literally you falling out of the sky for 30,000 ft. An introduction about you fighting with the very Strongest in the verse and being unkillable and the Strongest Living Being alive! With an hobby of suicide, with your biggest problem being that you are too strong to die!

FOURTH FIGHT

MIHAWK
Every good series starts with a power floor and a power ceiling. The floor shows our heroes' underdog circumstances from which they'll rise. The ceiling shows us how high they'll go. Dracule Mihawk's introduction in the Baratie arc was our first glimpse at One Piece's power ceiling, clearly demonstrating that despite how strong Zoro was, despite how much he'd improved, he still had a long long way to go. Mihawk's introductory scene also gave us great insight into the character himself; how he views the world from atop his lonely throne.

The Baratie arc conflict kicked off with the arrival of Krieg and Gin, the so-called rulers of East Blue limping back to the blue sea in defeat. We are told that a single man destroyed a fleet of 50 ships - a feat of strength utterly unheard of in the story so far. The Krieg Pirates repay Baratie's hospitality with violence and a war breaks out between the fighting cooks and East Blue's strongest pirate fleet. But the fighting immediately grinds to a halt when Mihawk makes his entrance.

Mihawkโ€™s entrance has him seated in a mysterious, confident pose, saving the reveal of his iconic ring-patterned eyes for last. He hardly spares a glance towards the terrified Krieg pirates who attack him, nor towards Zoro who challenges him. This communicates his complete disinterest towards everything and everyone he meets, reinforcing that despite the Krieg Pirates bringing crisis to Baratie, Mihawk himself is completely above it all, viewing the cooksโ€™ plight as nothing more than a time-waster.

Mihawkโ€™s introduction is a masterclass in establishing a seriesโ€™ power ceiling. The man Zoro set out to sea to find, an individual who demonstrated his overwhelming might by decimating the strongest fleet in East Blue utterly humiliates the Straw Hatsโ€™ swordsman despite his self-imposed handicaps. The fight serves to highlight both charactersโ€™ conflicting philosophies - a young upstart driven by his childhood promise who refuses to yield, and the world-weary veteran who has achieved it all, but found only bitterness. It is the perfect introduction for an antagonist, providing strong characterisation for both Mihawk and the Straw Hat duo, and leaving a deep impression on the readers when Zoro realises his limits, promising Luffy that he will never lose again. Mihawkโ€™s entry into the story remains one of the most unforgettable moments in East Blue, and perfectly justifies the characterโ€™s popularity despite him remaining an enigma for over twenty years.

VS

KIZARU
What made Kizaru's entrance so badass was that it was anticipated all arc. Throughout the entire arc, we were constantly told what would happen if a Celestial Dragon was touched. Finally Luffy punches one of the Celestial Dragons and we knew shit was about to go down. We knew we were about to get an amazing arc and an amazing antagonist. And then we get this badass dude flying over a canonball. What a breath taking entrance.

FIFTH FIGHT

ZENON ZOGRATIS FROM BLACK CLOVER
Zenon Zogratis

Zenon is the youngest sibling from the Dark Triad group.

We first saw a glimpse of him and his potential at the end of chapter 227 prior to the 6 months training that Clover Kingdom Magic Knights went through, where he destroyed the entire squad of Magic Knights from the Diamond Kingdom:

Luck who is one of the strongest characters in the entire series known for his power-hungry personality and his behaviors of jumping at stronger opponents to fight them for the first time in his life didn't feel like trying himself against Zenon. Which was the first hint at how powerful Spade Kingdom top-tier Magic Knights can be.

He formally debuted in chapter 234 when he invade Golden Dawn's headquarters:

He invaded Golden Dawn's headquarters with the purpose of capturing their Captain, William Vangeance.

No one from the strongest Golden Dawn members to Captain William Vangeance himself was a challenge to him, everyone aside Vangeance was simply collateral damage to him.

He wasn't fazed when two of his brigade Commanders he brought with him died.

Squaring off against the entire Golden Dawn squad with their Captain ( minus two vice-captains Yuno and Langris ) they didn't even scratch him or push him into a corner where he would have to use his full power. By casually walking around the headquarters and attacking everyone with his weakest attacks he murdered 50% of the Golden Dawn squad ( which is one of the biggest squads in the Clover Kingdom in terms of numbers ) and the only reason he didn't murder everyone including Yuno was because of William Vangeance's strongest healing spell that managed to save some people.

Yuno couldn't even scratch Zenon after using Spirit Dive which is arguably one of the if not the strongest power-up in the series that any Magic Knight can achieve:

Although unscratched he was impressed with Yuno's determination and stubbornness so he decided to showcase 55% of his power to Yuno:

Which resulted in near-death experience for Yuno:

+ the overall aftermath of Zenon's invasion:

Although Zenon is not one of the most impressive written characters in Black Clover he delivered where he needed the most. He was meant to be the menacing alpha antagonist who comes in and takes what he wants without any comedy and playing with his food.

Zenon was the only one out of the Dark Triad that secured his mission with no collateral damage or delays. He invaded the Golden Dawn, murdered half of the members, beat their Captain, and took him as a hostage as planned.

Everything was according to his plan without any delays and the only reason Yuno and half of the squad survive is because of the strongest healing spell in the entire series that Willaim Vangeance managed to cast during the fight with Zenon because he knew he can't win and decided to use the rest of his mana reserves for that spell. Even so, it wasn't enough and 50% of the squad members died in a one-way battle.

VS

YOSHIKAGE KIRA FROM JOJO
So my pick would be Yoshikage Kira from JoJo.

My synopsis on why he has one of the best character intro/debut in manga/anime history.

โ€œMy name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.โ€

Yeah just the quote alone is enough to beat any other synopsis Lmao. But seriously though, if it doesnโ€™t work then here you go.

Synopsis: I picked Kira because he is one of the greatest villain in JoJo. His first appearance shows how neutral evil he is. He just want to live a quiet life while doing evil deeds behind the scene. Then comes his speech which talked about his daily life which creates tons of memes among the JoJo fandom. He blend in with society perfectly just to enjoy his happiness of taking womenโ€™s hands to fill his heart content. That is why I think Kira has one of the best character debut in anime.

SIXTH FIGHT

UCHIHA ITACHI

Itachi Uchiha

Itachi first appeared in Volume 16 of the Naruto manga and anime in March 2003 and April 2004, respectively. The original manga ran from 1999โ€“2014, with a follow-up volume in 2015. Versions of the anime series ran on TV from 2002โ€“17.

Itachi had black hair, tied into a ponytail with long parted bangs. He wore a headband with a leaf symbol with a horizontal slash over it, signifying his โ€œmissing-ninโ€ status, meaning that he had cut ties with his native village, the Hidden Leaf Village. Itachi was also often outfitted in a long black robe with white and red cloud patterns on it, signaling his allegiance to the Akatsuki, a terrorist organization. He rarely showed emotion but was prone to shows of force. Having been traumatized by witnessing a previous war, he was a pacifist and would often run from confrontation. He possessed the powerful Sharingan and was a ninja prodigy in his youth.

VS

MADARA UCHIHA

Madara was built up to be a complete monster through out the story and he shows how op he really was when he came back and basically went against a whole army using only hand to hand combat. Then afterwards proceeded to drop not one but two meteors on top of them back to back.

MADARA UCHIHA TENGAI SHINSEI

Madara trolling the Kage and showcasing how out of their depths they truly are:

Some epic Madara panels:

Madara treating the Bijuu ( legendary monsters that caused so many problems across the world and are considered to be extremely strong) like mangy dogs that need to be put down :

Madara vs the 5 Kage + him offscrening them:

No matter how you think about Madara as a character that was one of the coolest and most bad ass scene in the entire manga and anime.

Man evaporated 2 "rankers" with a sanp of a wrist (the "top tiers" up until that point) and told them to bring a thousand just so it doesn't make him look bad when he fights them.
Sounds like my kind of char.

I didn't want to vote Qin Shi Huang because he defeated Zahard, but whoever wrote up their intro did a better job than the guy that did Urek's.
