Meh, if Jimbe was intended to be stronger, Oda would have given him the stronger opponent.

Casual Based on what?? Honestly jinbei was out of the conversation the min he was matched up with a Tobi Roppo. And if he hasn't defeated Who's Who by now he's really in the mud.

And Jinbei is shown to be strong sure, but we dont know how strong or where he's at. He hasn't defeated anybody but fodder post timeskip. And up until he got matched up with Who's Who he was just as ambiguous as Sanji. Now we know how oda views jinbei's strength. Tobi Roppo........

Jinbe shoud presumably prove to be good enough to defeat WsW with a lot of difficulty. At this stage it's at least hard to believe the solo won't occur and we don't have the counterfactual evidence at least so that's what I can speculate.
