General & Others Unpopular Opinions?

Not unpopular but rather has fallen under the radar. Are we keep gonna ingnoring the fact that dragon and drake have way too many simirarities, not to be associated with each other?
1) Both are associated with the symbol X,
2) Both are former marines who believe marines are corrupted and need to change, so similar code of honor.
3) Similar character: both stoic and thoughtful.
4) Their names mean the same thing. Drake=Dragon.
5) Both have connections to garp. Dragon being his son and drake being a captain of a group whose all seem to be garp fanboys-girls.

And to be fair most people once believed that drake was part of the rev. army. So how the heck he isnt one? Or is he?

Folks on piratefolk were complaining about Oda not combining characters. Oda makes too many similar characters because he isn't good at reusing existing characters.

Well, considering how many useless characters wano had, that guy from piratefolk is definitely correct. And i would add to the list King as well. He should have been an ex impel down officer since his outfit is very similar to Magellan's and queen originally accused him of being a sadist(a trait that most jailers shared). But still it would make drake much more interesting if he was in rev. i believe.

You know I agree both about the new surge of fans and being fed up. As for the remake if they'll remake only Dressrosa as an apology for their past sins I'll be perfectly content with that :suresure: The arc's adaptation was so horrendously awful like we've never seen before. If I was the series director I would've died from embarrassment releasing that.

Information about things in the Grandline and New World should not get out the Blue seas. The Grandline should be way more of a fairytale setting where people don't believe the things coming out of it.

Honestly Jimbei should be the head of the Grand Fleet. That way he can still support Luffy without being on the ship and main crew.

Isn't likeable or isn't popular? If you mean the popularity the sad backstory alone was never a factor. It is because Kuma himself isn't that popular. If Bonney was revealed to be another Ace or Luffy's best friend and Shanks's daughter her popularity would've skyrocketed. Oda always does stuff like that when he wants for a character to become popular fast but doesn't want to commit too much at the same time - he gives them a past with fan favorite characters, preferably from the top 10.
I have to admit I don't like when he does that, especially to Luffy's past. Because at this point where the story is right now it is just an obvious "retcon" to grab readers attention/make more easy money. Even if it doesn't really contradicts anything because Oda left enough loose ends at the time.

Bartholomew Kuma's fruit is a Psychic type ability fruit.

Kuma was able to psychically detect Bonney's life being in danger from very far away, thanks to the psychic ability of the Paw Paw Fruit.

Kuma's fruit was also able to strengthen his own mind, by continuously extracting the mental fatigue of all the people at the church growing up.

Kuma's mind, even though it was erased, was able to keep part of it alive thanks to his strong mind.

Sanji's mind being vulnerable to Saturn's mind attack, might spell doom for even someone like Luffy.

Roronoa Zoro might be the only one who can defeat Saturn's mind ability, since his mind was able to stay conscious after Nothing Happened.

Conquerors Haki, I think is a Psychic mind attack.

This means Hakai was a combo attack of the strongest Psychic Powers.

Not only did Zoro tank the initial Psychic attack of Hakai, he also tanked an additional amount of Psychic mental damage from twice the Psychic damage of Hakai.

Luffy calling Zoro, Onigashima, is Luffy hinting at Zoro's extremely strong mind, since the Brain of the Skull of Onigashima, had 35,400 minds inside at the time of the Raid.

These minds are similar to the shadows that get assimilated into the user thanks to the Kage Kage no Mi.

Moria was able to take in 1000 shadows, and Luffy was able to take in 100 shadows.

Luffy was still hit with attacks from a 1000 mind/shadow empowered Moria.

This might be the true reason why Zoro would say he's worth 2000 men, Zoro means his mind is capable of taking in 2000 shadows.

Now Luffy is foreshadowing that Zoro went from 2000 mind power to 35.400 after tanking Hakai and Hakai x 2.

Zoro being called Moss Head, Green Mom, Green Kaidou, and Onigashima are all foreshadowing for what's to come for Zoro.

Zoro already showed signs of having a strong mind attack power, when he used his mind to attack Monet.

This was only back when he had 2000 mind power, imagine how strong this kind of attack would be with 35,400 mind power.

The abstract conversion of Mind Power to Conquerors Haki will be shown soon when Zoro awakens his psychic powers.

Bonney called Zoro her brother for a reason, Kuma is the Psychic Father of Zoro.

Bartholomew Kuma is Mew, and Zoro is Mewtwo.

Sometimes it feels like people are deliberately misinterpreting Luffy's Sun God powers. He can stretch freely, and make other things stretch. Somehow people interpret his cartoony abilities as being able to rip holes in reality and stuff.

He does though.
- eyes literally bulging out
- turns heavy damage (under regular circumstances) into cartoon-like shrug off damage
- creates matter out of nothing
- straight up breaks in-world laws of physics


Regardless if we like it or not, it's likely just a matter of time that he breaks the fourth wall or pulls a clock out of his ass mid-fight and turns back time for a couple seconds.
