That’s fine tbh… they keep saying this is a escape arc and now the giant pirates are here maybe they are here to take us to elbaf… or the giant robot is the means of escape etc. also what u say may be right and oda could just let logia awakening be the thing and save coc for later when the crew is much stronger, I just figured since it was Kizaru showing vs a yonko crew when he gets serious he would show it.

He should have as the final villain or one of the final villains. ACoC at its peak is superior to any fruit. Whitebeard, who has top tier ACoC and a top tier fruit was matched by Roger who had no fruit. Having 2 top tier fruits, even 3, wouldn't compensate for someone having a top tier fruit + top tier ACoC (unless the DFs have some kind of synergistic effect). What would make Blackbeard special and more powerful than the rest is the fact, that he has to offer what other villains have (top tier ACoC and a top tier fruit) along with more than one top tier fruit, with one fruit being able to cancel out other DFs.
Also note how Rayleigh said that he could not have defeated Blackbeard and that is despite the Yami Yami no Mi has no clear advantage in terms of nerfing Rayleigh's power.
