It's kind of a shame too, because Usopp is legit an amazing character. Oda's obsession with introducing a lot of characters makes for interesting stories, but it makes me sad when it causes the SHs characterization to suffer

Dials are extremely powerful, ofc Usopp would be better with them in CQC but in post-TS he was mainly doing ranged combat.

If he wasnt nerfed he could have gotren some bodies pretimeskip with his tools and experience. He blocked Luffys serious punch with a dial and turned it back on him. Funnily enough he was suppouse to fight blueno. I wonder how Oda was going to write that fight while still shitting on usopp.
