Theory Mihawk’s observation haki technique

#1
He uses CoO to enhance his vision

I believe this is his main CoO technique, as opposed to FS.

I don’t think Oda will write Zoro retreading the same steps we have seen Luffy walk. Hence I believe Zoro will get his own unique haki techniques instead of getting the same ones as Luffy.

We see this in Wano, with Luffy getting internal destruction CoA and mastering barrier haki, whereas Zoro got KoH.

Similarly, whereas Luffy got FS, an ability he shares with his mentor Shanks, I think Zoro will get Mihawk’s CoO ability instead. The “Hawk Eyes”.

Interestingly, it seems as if this CoO power was used by Nusjuro as well.

I think it’s very likely that this is a master swordsman’s technique.

Basically a master swordsman should be capable of cutting anything they desire. That begs the question, what if the thing you desire to cut is hiding from your view?

Hence in order for a master swordsman to be able to cut anything they desire, they must have the ability to sense their prey from a distance. This is why Fuji has such strong CoO or why Shanks could snipe GB with CoC from miles away.

I think much like other advanced haki powers, the full extent of Mihawk’s CoO technique is yet to be revealed. But I think it’s highly likely Zoro develops it against Shiryu.
