It was obvious the man with burned scars was Saul. I even explained exactly what happened at one point. He was frozen, and the island was set on fire, so the ice melted. Then, he went into hiding because he was the other survivor of the incident. Nobody knew where he was because he went to Elbaf and it has the strongest army in the world. He took sanctuary there.

Lots of other people were like "maybe it's Xebec" lol

This an extremely important chapter. Saul and Robin are likely going to discuss the research of O'Hara and it will change the perspectives of the Straw Hats. I'm slightly annoyed it happened so easily tbh.
The burn scar man is sailing the new world in a black ship creating whirlpools...

Yep. It's for sure saul. The dude who was a traitor to the wg and the marines. He's that much of a retard to just completely abandon all logic and sail the new world risking him getting spotted and captured...

None of yall know a thing about literature tropes and shit and it's showing. This is oda we're talking about. He's gonna stretch the burn scar dude plotline for all it's worth. Oda is not the type of dude to resolve plot points this quickly when he can just extend it much longer. This is nothing more than a basic bait and switch.

Saul is literally said to be a history tutor in this very chapter ffs.

Saul is not the Burn Scar man
He is. Before this chapter we knew a few things

1. He has a ship that appears in a fog. This chapter directly calls Saul’s ship a “mist ship”

2. He creates whirlpools on command to stop anyone approaching. This chapter tells us Saul has Vegapunk technology which we can assume vegapunk has tech for whirlpools

3. He’s burned. Saul has burn scars

4. He is connected to the government (this was said by the BB pirates)… now this is the only thing that hasnt been addressed

we have to learn Saul’s connection to the WG…
