Mihawk's the type of guy that his CoC is completely irrelevant and he's always leeching off Shanks or someone else so the
readers can remember he exist..
S-Hawk is more important than Mihawk at this point..
Shiryu is going to sneak kill Mihawk, and Mihawk will show cutting a tree from afar with no air Slash, end of the story..

You still don't understand the manga.
Mihawk was already a renown swordsman before the great pirate age. His WSS title is not a title limited to the just pirates. He doesn't need One Piece to exist.
Mihawk received hype during Marineford when the manga hyped his strength beyond the combined power of 3 admirals.
You still think those pirate titles and positions mean something to Mihawk? He could have been a Yonko but he chose not to because he doesn't care for it.
S-Hawk and Shiryu will be stepping stones to help Zoro prepare to face Mihawk. The same as all of his opponents. Including BM and Kaido. They will used to hype us Zoro's CoA haki, AP, and defensive power.

Mihawk is irrelevant to the story since he has no agency, no ambitions and exists only to die/be defeated.

99% of the characters chasing after One Piece will fail and not achieve One Piece. Their entire purpose is to fail. WB, BM and Kaido all failed to obtain One Piece. Oda could have had another character inspire Luffy other than Shanks if wanted to. See I can do that too.
