Your best bet for a civil discussion is to visit the FC of the character you wanna talk about and start from there
Or you can make a thread asking people questions about a certain character, I'm sure you'll get some good feedback unless it's the highly controversial characters like Luffy Zoro Sanji Mihawk and Shanks

I like One Piece for the huge world and possibilities it offers, it is very original and has great values (sometimes/depending on your values), that's what's good about it though, it offers a little something to a big spectrum of different people and that's a great start for making a great story.
The execution in the last ten years leaves to be desired though and keeps declining.
Is it about Oda becoming ''untouchable'' even from his own editors or are his editors some kind of fanboys or are they just not good enough ? Is Oda dead in reality and somekind of Shuesha board is writing One Piece ? Has Oda ''lost his touch'' ? Am I the crazy one ? I don't know but it has become quite miserable and I keep hope it would get better somehow.

What do you mean? The only significant change in One Piece in the last decade is the weekly manga publishing schedule, as Oda gets older and his health factor, it is natural that the publishing schedule is getting slower. And I am grateful enough that Oda is still consistent in doing his work. Many Manga are on hiatus, or published maybe once every 3 months.

What do you mean? The only significant change in One Piece in the last decade is the weekly manga publishing schedule, as Oda gets older and his health factor, it is natural that the publishing schedule is getting slower. And I am grateful enough that Oda is still consistent in doing his work. Many Manga are on hiatus, or published maybe once every 3 months.

It's about the quality of the story, the quality of the drawings and the ''misdirecting''/''subeverting expectations'' that is done for the sake of it.
