How do you figure? He is still gets paid regardless of whether he plays for the Browns or not. This is probably a win-win for both in the situation. The Browns can move on and he can sit at home rehab and get paid.

Not many franchises deserve it more, but will they be able to exorcise their demons and make it to their first-ever Super Bowl?
not talking about his impact or future on the Browns or whether you hate him but rather the fact he managed to re-tear 3 MONTHS after getting injured and completing surgery for rehab. most people (and athletes) in his situation would be completely terrified after getting an injury of that magnitude and would make a conscious effort to lay low for months to allow it to actually heal. But according to reports, he was already out of a walking boot just weeks after (which would almost certainly prevent having your ankle rolled, etc.) so he clearly didn't care and was trying to act if the process was done already
also you're acting like a achilles tear is a harmless injury that he won't feel whatsoever. there was a reason why they even found out that he re-tore it to begin with. down the line he may become disabled if it doesn't recover completely or he does not take rehab seriously (again). having millions does not take away from the fact that he will still be in perpetual pain for at least a year
he complained of discomfort after rolling his ankle in Miami. MRI results demonstrated a re-rupture to his Achilles tendon. …
had a high school teacher in my sophomore year that tore his achilles at the end of the year. used to be a jubiliant, energetic guy and but after the injury basically became a lifeless husk (never cracked a smile again) after while having to use crutches and wheelchairs. literally graduated 2 yrs after and he was still in a wheelchair at the graduation ceremony and basically wincing in pain whenever he wasn't around his students. shit is still ingrained in my mind 10 years later

Am I supposed to feel bad about choices that he has made? He could have taken his recover more seriously and rehabbed at a reasonable pace. No one, especially no the Browns are rushing this guy back on the field. I am certainly not acting like it is a "harmless injury" as you say, that is you interpreting thing in your own manner and reading too much into what I said. I could care less about this guy and what he has going on, he is a trash human being and is getting paid millions that he hasn't earned doesn't deserve imo. Couldn't have happened to a better guy and organization if you ask me, now they can both make a clean split.
