Literally everyone and their mothers thought Luffy and Sanji would fight Kizaru ONSCREEN, like it mattered. The whole scene and their speeches 100% make things look like thats it. Characters leaving the area, Sanji and Luffy laughing/dropping one liners and Kizaru getting ready for what is coming.

Say all you want but imagine being a Zoro fan here.. Like, no one ever imagined he would be taken out of the rooftop to become a complete gag for 10 chapters just so he could fight alongside Sanji (even if you already had accepted Zoro would 100% fight King). Thats the equivalent of Luffy and Sanji fighting Kizaru and Saturn, but Sanji gets bodied and Zoro has to carry him as a silly ass mummy in a cross so they can fight together.


I can't think of anything else right now, have some ideas but wont elaborate too much. Shanks sneak attacking Aramaki to promote Film Red is a close 3rd tho

The Sanji/Black Maria stuff could get the 4th position for me, but its debatable, since Sanji getting involved with females is much more predictable than what we have in the 2nd position.

1. ZKK - If you aren't a Zoro hater, you'd see the ZKK hints.
-It's Wano, the land of Swords, supposed to be Zoro's arc after Sanji got WCI
-Zoro with Ryuma connection
-Yasui and Zoro forming a bond, then Zoro remembering Yasui's words "No one was able to take Kaido's head for over 20 years." when Yasui was dying
-Zoro receiving Enma, which was hyped to be the only blade that cut Kaido
-Promoted Ryuma's one shot "Monsters".
-Zoro literally saying he's going for Kaido's head (Only time Zoro says he'll go for the main antagonist of an arc)
-Cover page with Zoro eating ramen bowl with an Azure Dragon design
-Cover page with skull on Zoro's shirt and 944 on the grave, then it was revealed that 944 is Kaido's Vivre Card Number

This is just to name a few.

But all this only to defeat a fake "dragon", King's flame dragon lmao.

1. Kawamatsu. All that build up to a pointless character with a meh design.

2. Zoro seeing the grim reaper and then nothing.

3. The Nidai Kitetsu being irrelevant.

4. Kanjuro being the traitor after Oda went out of his way to clear him. Super convenient personality go brrr.

ZKK was arguably the best theory in OP, or at least top 3 (IMO) alongside raid failing and Blackbeard having 3 souls (still active)

Tons of foreshadowing, parallels, statements, narratives. What not.

The only reason I knew it wouldn't happen was because Oda was the author, especially given how afraid he's of Zoro'spopularity lol. If this was Kishimoto or Togashi, it might have actually happened.

What the fuck do you mean "next thing he wants peace again", he's always wanted peace which is why he was a shichibukai in the first place.

Feeling exciting for being chased, does not contradict wanting peace, it's literally just something he felt from being chased. It probably reminds him of when his younger and wasn't a shichibukai, back to when he was called "marine hunter".

Prime WB fled from marines and Oden asked why the fuck he was running away, to which he replied if they get rid of this bunch, more will simply come to pester and harass then so it's not worth it. So where is Prime WB on your list, for that and not going to Wano.

Riding on buggys name: 1.Being a Yonko is not the kind of peaceful life he wants.

3. Better to let Buggy take the brunt of stardom and attention as a Yonko which is something Buggy thrives on

For some reason you retards equate being a swordsman with meaning you constantly want violence, in every other aspect of life besides swordsmanship.

Right so everyone who was ever a swordsman wanted to be involved in politics and worry about being assassinated and armies coming after them or being caught in wars, instead of just refining their craft, and competing with other like-minded individuals.
