I like the idea of DF swords. Swords have high durability and can be covered in CoA and CoC.
A guy like Shamrock gets all the benefits of the fruit, while staying safe from damage himself.
It creates variety in abilities while it does not drawback or downgrade, what's otherwise a solid high top tier most likely.

Similar to Orochi's fruit a Cerberus fruit has far too many weak spots to be considered great, when used by a character himself. It's pretty weak even, but on a weapon exceptionally good.

And I disagree on the Hair Color Part.
Oda explicitly revealed Roger Pirate designs and in it Gaban was given black hair. While the guy from the cover story has blond hair.

Imo the burn scar man should be completely independent from Roger Pirate, it makes the story more interesting that it being a Roger Pirate

When wood is burned, it turns black.

And the coloring from the online coloring hasn’t been always accurate in the past. Plus the Kasa hats can have a story yellow straw on the back as we see in chapter 911.

It’s a Roger pirate, they’re more important and interesting than randoms.

Think about who can explain to Luffy what happened to Shanks as a baby. Only a Roger Pirate could here because of God Valley. On top of this, that Roger Pirate can explain Rocks and God Valley as a whole. Yes, a non-Roger Pirate could do the latter, but definitely not the former.

Shiki was there, and I don't think Shanks having a brother would be something the major players don't know about.

And Scopper is the only other named Roger pirate in this manga, everyone else is barely known from Databooks.

Nothing indicates he's scopper gaban, from looks and the color of his hair etc etc...
