This is actually a decent comparison. Roger Ray Gaban could be looked at as King Queen Jack, in the grand scheme of things relative, and on the same tier, even if there are clear gaps.

The only difference being we will never get fleshed out fights for Gaban and Ray the way we did with the Calamities, so these gaps can be argued till the end of time, but being relative to each other is what the Giants were saying, so that will hold.

Well, Oda emphasized them staying shoulder to shoulder and highlighted Gaban being the left hand of Roger, while Jack clearly over the course of several arcs has been placed beneath King and Queen respectively, he's never been grouped with them asside when it comes to sharing the same rank, it's essentially the same dynamic as with Marco and Jozu comperatively to Vista.

Jack is basically the handpicked baby boy of Kaido, he's far younger, has a lower bounty than King and Queen and is treated as the younger brother. This kind of dynamic at least based on the giant's impression hasn't been conveyed at all and Roger/Rayleigh/Gaban seem to be much closer (not saying there can't be a noticable gap) than King/Queen and Jack

The point is that he is getting chewed out by King and Queen
In this chapter we got Scopper arguing with roger
You cant twist that dynamic into anything similar to king queen and jack. Not even King queen and kaido fits, because thats how the PK and the future PK dynamic is different than a yonko crew
Like queen is not gonna question Kaidos plans nor will katakuri big moms openly

I do think though, regardless of the translation discrepancies, this chapter almost completely refutes the idea of Luffy's crew becoming like a "typical" Yonko crew

Yeah I think regardless odas intention was to put the M3 of the previous generation on the same pedestal. The inclusion of Roger is pointless otherwise because being shoulder to shoulder to Rayleigh would be enough hype based on the previous quote in the speech about two immensely powerful Roger pirates

Again YOU ARE MISSING A HUGE POINT, The PIRATE KING CREW IS NOT LIKE A YONKO CREW. All the Yonko crews have the captain who is obviously REALLY strong and then far away from him, tiers bellow him, the commanders.

Luffy's crew is not following the Yonko archetype, it is following Pirate King crew type dynamic like Roger and Xebec, where they have a trio or 4men in the crew REALLY above the others.

For example, When the giant talked about Gaban, he said "Other than Roger, two other pirates in his crew are monsters" Which inderectly means he puts the 3 of them on a same group, a tier (even if Roger would be in the top of that tier). In Kaido's crew, they Talk about Kaido then seperatly talk about the calamities as a group, that's the difference. In a Pirate King type crew, you have commanders, BUT you will also have two wings that are part of a group with their captain since they are really close to him in strenght.
