Zoro has better attack speed/CQC, Sanji has better movement speed. Luffy is good in both. Should be obvious

Zoro does not lack speed by all means. Keeping up with or even being faster than Kaido, a fully trained fire-off lunarian or awakened Lucci easily puts him on top 10 in terms of speed.

He lacks mobility. God knows why he doesn't invest 3 minutes of training and learn the moonwalk. We seen more than enough moments where he needed someone bring him to the people he wrecks (Sanji, orlombo, Law, Jimbei)

But anyway, yes it does help, if you have ranged attacks. It means you can keep distance and attack

The high movement speed and flight of King was an issue for Zoro, because King was spamming fire balls, flying slashes, etc from a distance.

In a Zoro vs Sanji matchup, yeah it wouldn't make a difference as of now, Because Sanji doesn't have ranged attacks yet.
