I think we’ll see a few intermission chapters relatively soon. I think that Oda found the Arc structure from Wano where he cut in and out of the arc useful, that’s why he brought them back on Wano.

It won’t be called Act One, Act Two etc, but I think that Elbaf’s “Act One” plot is nearly over. I’m not sure if we’ll see the truth of the day Harald died just yet, but Luffy and Hajrudin will know. There will be a clash with the Holy Knights for the kids, some sort of cliffhanger then move on to an intermission to see what’s happening in the rest of the world. Then set up for the second phase of Elbaf (more Holy Knights summoned, Heaven Realm, Usopp, Kid, maybe other arrivals).

To think of it, luffy and garp had a narcolepsy problem when around each other, I can't remember if either randomly fell asleep on their own but I suspect luffy has before?
Luffy did "briefly sleep" in gear 5 vs lucci recently though but that was just to mock him ofc.

Given nika is all about manifesting imagination and reality warping too, luffy vs killingham would be very interesting indeed, he does seem the strongest HK by far except Shamrock and Garling ofc.
Given he has a "white sash" like nika/gear 5 luffy and Yamato’s zoan, it's very interesting in potential implications too.

Someone suggested that gunkos redirecting powers would be hilarious vs Zoro, she'd force him to go one way but he would go the opposite way subconsciously and unintentionally due to his getting lost even on a straight road habit lmfao. Even better if she uses stairs vs him with her powers (maybe making an escalator of sorts even or a pseudo treadmill maybe) or they fight near stairs at least.

Sommers vs Sanji is written in stone, in ancient tablets at this point like Sanji vs Queen but I hope Oda doesn't let us down here too, like he has done with some matchups we wanted desperately before.

Sommers ability is extremely dangerous for Robin especially too potentially.

Loki's gamble was extremely stupid, and now the whole story is getting into full padding mode again.
As could have been suspected, Hajrudin is likely going to be the more important character, as he's the one with a dream and associated with Luffy. Even if he's boring.
Loki possibly will only be relevant after the arc, when he's "fully healed", unless they find some mythical healing method. Until then he'll probably struggle against Gunko of the new "Flying Six" (lots more Loki almost-dead panels incoming).
Shamrock was dangled in front of us, but probably won't appear again for years.

If Harald had a child with a human woman, or, if somehow, he had a child that wasn't a full Giant, and was a Buccaneer, there's no way he could raise the child in Elbaph.

Kaido definitely was abandoned due to not having a Giant mother, IMO.

This chapter does a solid job setting up the upcoming Elbaf lore flashback as well as introducing the Holy Knights’ abilities and personalities. They're set to be the antagonists of the arc’s main battle. With Shamrock’s leaving, they need to carry the arc’s climax. There needs to be some emotional stakes and strong characterization which are honestly lacking at the moment.

The one way this could be saved for me, is if Gunko is revealed to be Imu’s avatar. There are several hints supporting the theory, the similarity in their eye pupil shape, the arrow ability, her fear of Nika, and the fact that she is the only Holy Knight whose family name has not been revealed. Luffy having a confrontation, albeit indirect, with with Imu would elevate the arc’s climax which is currently heading towards a hollow payoff.

someone on twitter theorized that the switching of colors may mean that sanji and zoro will get the opponents that we think would be for the other

( as in zoro fighting sommers who seems to be set up for sanji and sanji either fighting kirin ( given the whole sleeping gag which zoro tends to do) or gunko( direction and sanjis modifications may effect his personality/mind or nami is put in danger and sanji kicks nami

sanji never lost his his position as 3rd strongest every feat we have of sanji puts him close in strength to zoro there has never been anything that changed sanjis positino as 3rd strongest ( jinbes bounty is irrelevent its like claiming ussop is stronger then franky its just a gag oda likes to do with sanji not liking his bounty it doesnt change the fact sanji will always be close in strength to zoro ( zoro gained adv coc while sanji got an awakening to boost his stats to keep them close in strength ( adv coc isnt the only power up that matters ( luffy got both and it took both to beat kaido) and)

I always roll my eyes at the attempts by zorostans to act liek sanji lost his position or downplaying him they are so insecure about the fact zoro isnt far stronger then the other members of the crew or that sanji is allowed to look bad they try to downplay sanji rather then admit zoro wouldnt have done better against doffy .

so going well sanji was hypetooled wont change the facts that sanji and zoro are close in strength that has never changed is well zoro was on rooftop ( ignoring that zoro was kicked off it and the fact killer was on the rooftop as well)
oda always put an emphasis on their rivalry and had neat connections with their opponents.

so yes you can use zoro stuff to theorize about sanji and I know some will be insecure and act like its wrong to suggest sanji vs lafitte since shiryu is the 2nd captain while lafitte is the 5th

while at the same time claiming shanks feats or shamrocks should be used for mihawk
sanjis feats and portrayal put him close in strength to zoro and the 3rd strongest ( sanji destroyed queen it was a mid diff at best he only passed out due to using up stamina to counter queens invisbility

I was going to create a separate thread with all the little details I noticed (arrows, pupils, fear of Nika, hiding her family name, etc...).

I don't know how it would work exactly, but so far we know Imu has some sort of remote control over his minions as we saw when he killed Saturn who was physically on Egghead. He might be able to take over royals and use their bodies as avatars.
