The hits Doffy tanked from boundman would put Katakuri in a wheelchair.

Its the crutch Luffy used to even be able to hit Katakuri since everything else kept failing.
Boundman was too slow and got countered by Power Mochi. His FS was still not as good as Katas even though he kept improving.
Luffy sacrificed AP for speed and it was still enough to KO Kata in a few hits... Emberassing.

Zoro has consistently outpaced Luffys base and G2. Zoros attack speed is undeniably higher. His reaction speed is as well judging from previous encounters like @HA001 mentione with Hyouzou.

Zoros base AP >> Snakeman while the speed of his attack is comparable or possibly even greater.
If Kata tries to counter with Power Mochi he get outpaced and hit.
If Kata tries to use faster attacks then Zoros base AP will overpower him.
If Kata tries to evade attacks then Zoro will use larger scale attacks.

I really see no way how Katakuri could win this. Not against current Zoro.

CoC coating makes the difference here. Snakeman on its own has been shown to be asswater vs Katakuri, like it or not.
Even G2 harmed Kaido once CoC was involved.

It hasn’t hit Katakuri though. Now if it does hit Katakuri Zoro wins. But I don’t see it landing unless it’s a circumstance where Katakuri isn’t spamming FS.

You're right, that's why Katakuri is still alive. Bottom line is Katakuri lost to someone significantly weaker than current Zoro. If you ain't gonna question how Roger tags Katakuri, don't cling onto this mismatch either.

How does Zoro land Ashura

Asura is a manifestation of Zoro's spirit/will creating an illusion of his body being omnidirectional. I believe this manifestation/illusion won't be able to accurately detect Zoro's strike using FS. The illusion gives a false narrative per say.
