How can they realistically hurt the gorilla though? It's skin is much much thicker than a human's and it's muscle/bones are way more dense.

Real life isn't fiction, Gorilla's are tough but they aren't no selling everything, and things like choking it out or gouging out its eyes are still options.

It depends on whether the humans coordinate. If it comes down to it, they could all just crowd and suffocate it.

The highest stat I've heard for gorilla strength is 9x that of a human , and I'm pretty sure even that's an exaggeration.

A grizzly would have been better for this challenge, but I'm not even sure one of those can handle 100 humans.
