Nah bears have super loose skin unlike primates (that’s why Grizzlies are able to claw the shit out of each other and not get hurt when that same claw swipe would spill your guts).

I don’t see how we could damage a grizzly bear let alone a polar bear
Yeah let's not fuck with a bear lol. I remember seeing a guy who got clawed by a bear and his face was straight up unrecognizable. Was pretty sad actually, but that shows the true strength of a pissed off bear.

Yes a Silverback is a 200kg scrub he gets smushed lol
Now 100 silverbacks versus a hippo, that would be a fight
Question, have you seen a silverback in real life?

It’s one of those animals that looks wayyyy bigger in person than on a screen.

Some animals like lions are a lot smaller than you’d think when you see them but others like gorillas and rhinos are way bigger when you see them irl

A male gorilla's bite force is around what, 1300 psi?
That's about 8 times the bite force of a person. It's easily high enough to crush and chew through the bones and flesh of an average person.

Pretty sure the 9 inch thing is wrong. It's more like 14 mm. I'll see if I can find a sauce.

Looks like the 9 inch thick skull was debunked. 14 mm is like the thickest it gets, apparently.

I agree with what others have said. You ought to have gone with a bear of some sort. Maybe not a polar or grizzly though. Then again overheating strategy might work on polars idk.

It depends on whether the humans coordinate. If it comes down to it, they could all just crowd and suffocate it.

The highest stat I've heard for gorilla strength is 9x that of a human , and I'm pretty sure even that's an exaggeration.

A grizzly would have been better for this challenge, but I'm not even sure one of those can handle 100 humans.
Grizzlies can soda can crush cars lol

I’m taking a Grizzly over 100 men personally

You guys are underestimating the endurance of wild animals (warning minor gore):

If a person gets a limb broken they’re going to fall down and cry, most wild animals will be shocked for a second but will unironically keep it pushing
Blood loss still exists tho,

And my main point is poking its eyes , no endurance can save this gorilla from an L if he turns blind.

20 average men. With organization and a good plan.
Target his balls and his eyes. Sacrifice 3 or 4 or the weakest ones as a distraction to get behind him, always surround him. Use everything that can give the win such as bites, eys pokes, etc...
3 or 4 casualties is too low imo. It's gonna be like 10 or 20 men that fall. Gorillas are still tough as fuck - Easily in the top 5 or 4 strongest land animals along with bears (specifically polar bears), elephants, rhinos and hippos in no specific order.

@SakazOuki ok granting the human squad can pull off the victory, what do you estimate the casualties at
Like 70kg non trained men? Probably more than half
100 pencil necks would get brutally stomped though, so it all depends on what you mean by average men
But if there are 10 capable men within those 100 they can secure the win
Don’t you watch fights? 5 minutes and the gorilla is gassed out, no different from humans in that regard

How about 1 Pachycephalosaurus vs 100 men?

They weren't too big (about 470 kg) and mainly relied on headbutting.
Not a lot of info on them I think, but I think they'd probably lose?
While their skulls are strong as FUCK, they still have those short arms, and I think if the men band together they could manage to distract it and pick it up by the tail and start swinging it around. Or they could just try to trip it.
