Controversial Brago confirms the Toei Sanji mistreatment being noticed by animators.

So through Vincent Chainsard, talking amongst his colleagues, he confirms what has been obvious: Toei has an agenda against Sanji.

Basically for Toei, and more than ever in Egghead since its more noticeable due to how frequent it is being: Zoro is there to be enhanced whereas Sanji is there to be diminished.

I didn’t knew Sanji bothered people to that point. But why tho? Are real life Zoro enjoyers really that grumpy where they need to diminish and slander one of the most important characters in the show to somehow make one just as important character to look better by comparison? Do they really think a character looking good NEEDS to be tied to the slander of another one? Isn't it such childish and silly decisions that goes heavily against the mangaka's intentions?

Makes u think about it...

Bro, you guys know that animators get some choice for the scenes they get to work on right?

Also, directors also get some choice for it as well.

Sanji just does not have as many meaty scenes as Zoro, and Zoro's scenes tend to work better as action set pieces for animators, since he is up against more notable opponents, or closer to the key action.

Go through each episode with Sanji doing stuff, and you can immediately see nothing he has done is the centerpiece of any episode, because there are just more important scenes.

In saying that, Sanji will 100% be getting good scenes later in the arc when he is actually doing important stuff.

whats wrong with people :kaidowhat:

Its a fucking cartoon.... "mistreating a character" :arnoling:
Who cares especially for a irrelvant character who is not even good in manga too.
There are so many things wrong with the manga itself let alone characters like Sanji...No one wants to cry about Big Mom? Do feminists not want to protest on this maybe? :ClownStare:....no they did not...

Zoro sells, Sanji doesn't thats all.

The last anime episode i remember watching is the Katakuri vs Snake man fight and i couldn't care less about what goes on in the anime but can someone explain how can they mistreat Sanji worse than the manga?
Don't they just adapt whatever happens in the manga? Did they skip the Queen fight or something?

Nah, its more they play up Sanji's simp gag a lot to fill out space.

Sanji vs Queen was better in the anime than the manga I'd say.
