General & Others it okay to drop One Piece if you aren't enjoying it.

The mentality of just because you have stuck with a series for a long time that you have to force yourself to read/watch it until the end is a horrible mindset. Just like the people who hate watched the Rings of Power, or Velma. if you aren't enjoying One Piece anymore you don't need to stick with it. It's okay to drop it.

I've been reading OP weekly since Thriller Bark. And Post Timeskip just doesn't hold a candle to pre-timeskip OP. The world building was better, character development was better, arcs were paced very well, unlike the over bloated mess we get now. The fights were more creative/ like Oda put actual thought into them, instead of "Who haz more powerful haki? Dey win!" I still read weekly, but the interest I felt pre timeskip has definitely waned. I'm not gonna drop it, mainly because I've been reading it for like 18 years, and just need to see it through to the end. Also because post timeskip does have its moments, fleeting as they may be.

Idk man I get what you're saying I love one piece so I'm here till the end but I understand why some long time viewers won't drop it despite maybe not liking it like they used to

Velma, Rings of power etc etc each only have a season maybe 2 at most 3 they dont have as much time invested into the story

But one piece has been in serialization since 97? And some of these grandpa's here are old enough to have read it day 1

Following a story for almost 30 years, waiting for all the secrets, seeing all the twist and learning all that was teased since the beginning will make it worth holding on to it,

That's why I think people keep reading/watching even if its just the spoilers, so they can see how everything ties together

I don't think anyone is forcing themselves to do something they don't want to do. This isn't a retail job, no one needs to be involved with One piece to make bread, unless somethings gone horribly wrong and you've ended up a One piece youtuber. But people derive pleasure from media in different ways. Some will skim the spoilers and get into heated power scaling debates about a series they know little to nothing about because they haven't properly read a chapter in years, that's fine, that's what brings them joy. Others will make meme art, some will write theories, some will shitpost, some will just watch the anime and think that strobe lights are a power system and a metric for power, hey, it is what it is, enjoy it however you enjoy it.

I don't follow any one piece youtubers or artist so I only come here when I remember it once a week or so. Glance at some thread titles, if there's a chapter, sift through it for 2 minutes, shrug; and move on.

Doesn't take much time. I wouldn't say I hate it. I'm just bored of it right now.

no, trump did in fact sign an executive order, instructing seal team 6 to neutralize all one piece apostates. he told the press "if the muslims can do it, why shouldn't we one piece fans (short for fanatic mind you) do it too?"

This but I believe literally the opposite of everything. The world building is better post time skip, the characters are deeper and change more, the arcs are more interesting and paced better, the powers are cooler and more interesting, etc
