It was very rushed and parts of it had to be turned into a novel. Kubo (the author) had fucked up health from drawing a weekly manga for over a decade and had to spent several months in hospital after finishing it iirc, so it ended a bit earlier than it should.

In a world that's heavily dominated by haki as shown last chapter with gaban bypassing holy knights regenerative ability with it. People still believe that black beard a devil fruit merchant will be the final bad???????

Imu seems to have a devil fruit that allows him to share his power (haki and immortality) with other beings that make a pact with him. He can vene talk to them telepathically (voice of all things) and since he shares his ability with them they can also talk to each other telepathically.

And yet people still believe that BB will be the final villian?

BB taking Imu's fruit, or somehow taking Shanks haki would fix that problem

Final battle was rushed, after spending 100+ chapters dealing with the main bad's (Yhwach's) underlings, Yhwach himself was defeated in like.. 4 chapters? Anime is supposedly trying to fix it a bit now (they already added some new scenes that weren't in the manga with Kubo's approval) but the last cour, that had the biggest problems, is not out yet so we will see how it goes.

Really, the biggest screeching about the ending was from shippers, because the girl they liked did not end with the MC but with the balding sidekick instead.

I still miss Bleach, probably the most fun I had following a weekly manga when it was coming out, every other chapter had something ridiculous in it, perfect unintentional comedy.

Anime added some implied romantic scenes between them to rake in the cash (since the pairing was really popular at one point), despite Kubo not wanting that afaik.

I still vividly remember a video of some girl cosplaying as Rukia burning 50+ Bleach volumes in her garden, as I said, crazy times.
