This is not Gaban downplay. It’s Gunko upscale. If an old legend could blitz an Admiral but another old legend with FS who’s NOT BELOW RAYLEIGH (who could keep up with Kizaru) couldn’t do the same towards Gunko that means she can blitz most YC1s at the min

Hot take but I don’t think Kurama is necessarily that much stronger than the other Bijuu. It’s just that Naruto’s chakra efficiency is likely much higher than that of the Bijuu themselves, so he can do much more with the same amount of chakra then they can.

Obito stated the Three Tails was much weaker because it didn’t have a Jinchuriki, Gyuki denied that tail number corresponds to strength, and also it just wouldn’t make much sense for Hagoromo to split up the Juubi’s chakra so unevenly rather than just going for the much more straightforward option of just splitting it into 9 equal parts

It's reasonable, but that's just not the portrayal, the Nine tails was matching multiple tailed beasts at once lol. I think this was just a mistake on Kishis part tbh

Prime Garp > Prime Ray (although not a big gap)

Two decades later. Garp trains every single day (with the vivre card literally saying he's not that far off from prime strength) while Rayleigh goes years without touching a sword.

What logic is there that indicates Garp wouldn't gap him at this point.

Either way, it makes or breaks the Zoro agenda. The height argument is still one of the biggest arguments, nobody has an actual counter to the logic behind it.

Gaban > Rayleigh in overall speed and perception due to FS (every FS user has used it to boost their speed/blitz their opponents)

Rayleigh stalled Kizaru and matched his combat speed in battle

Gaban‘s equality to Rayleigh + FS gives him a MASSIVE portrayal boost in terms of speed. More than old Garp. Maybe in physical strength he is below but Gaban is certainly not below old Garp in terms of speed, he is at least slightly above

And Gunko evaded a FS blitz attempt from an old legend. Yea it’s real gas

Garp has been training every single day for the past 20 years while Gaban and Rayleigh barely fight every couple years.

Even in their primes they were below Garp, it would make 0 sense for them to still be relative at this point
