We’ve already seen one Gorosei go down. Saturn’s base, hybrid, and full Zoan forms were all showcased and none of them amounted to much. Despite having massive backup, he got handled the entire arc, doing nothing against even the weaker Straw Hats at times.

What's worse is he wasn't killed off due to being the weakest, but because of stupidity (he didn’t get rid of Emeth when he had the chance). That’s with regeneration, too.

Contrast that with Kizaru. Oda made it clear Kizaru was holding back, even helping Luffy at key moments. But with Saturn? No excuse was given. He got written off. And yet, he’s still supposed to represent the threat of the Gorosei.

Now we’re heading into another confrontation with these guys, but the tension’s already deflated. One of their peers got clowned and killed. And next time, the Straw Hats won’t be alone, it's legit only gonna get easier on paper lol.

Just terrible writing for the villains. I feel like they're the underdogs here lmao.

Saturn's excuse was that Luffy couldn't do a single thing to harm him and ran away scared. What more do you want? Saturn's portrayal is over Kaido.
