I watched Sicario 2 also but I found it noticeably worse, and YouTube suggested a Sicario 3 trailer to me yesterday but I didn’t watch it and have no idea if it’s real or not lmfao.

Yeah I mean, I’ve never seen a more memorable movie about the war on drugs. It was just so great. Lol

I decided not to watch Sicario 2 the moment I knew Dennis Villeneuve was not helming it. Villeneuve is the only one in modern Hollywood capable of contending against Christopher Nolan as THE premier blockbuster auteur. Pretty much every other director in modern Hollywood would lose to them in terms of quality.

Anyway, Villeneuve's Prisoners is a must-see for anyone who likes unforgettable psychological thrillers. I won't spoil what it is about for you, but I'm willing to bet you won't forget the final shot of Prisoners.

And if it turns out that you like Prisoners as well, I'd recommend you watch two other films by Villeneuve: Incendies (2010) and Arrival (2016).

P. S. You probably knew this already, but don't look up anything about Prisoners, Incendies, and Arrival if you don't wanna get spoiled.
